This project, located in the upper North of side of Sydney in an old residential area that us surrounded by a nurturing environment. Being close to the Chatswood shopping centre makes the location convenient and favoured by many.
A large land area and the clients love for French architecture, centred the birth of this elegant French-inspired House. The overall atmosphere of the house is dignified and is comprised of three major blocks. French architecture pays attention to detail, distributed on the outside wall. Deep set lines set on the entrance columns skilfully used to create and elegant and romantic shape.
Through the interpretation of different line elements, the architects aimed to express noble temperaments where the entrance hold and important weight in. The use of strong contrasts of dark windows to light coloured walls strengthens the visual effect f the overall design and effectively draws the sight towards the front door. The use of symmetry also effectively creates a pleasant and powerful momentum throughout the design.
The essence of French architecture is the attention to detail and its ability to withstand the test of time in longevity and timelessness.
